So Barracuda offers customers choices to keep their equipment operational – Warranty, Instant Replacement with Hardware Refresh, and for a limited set of products, Warranty Extension. Consult the terms and conditions for more information.
Warranty
All Barracuda hardware units come with a 12-month warranty without additional charge. If your hardware experiences a problem, contact Barracuda Support for assistance – no additional charge.
Instant Replacement with Hardware Refresh
When customers purchase a subscription to the Instant Replacement service, they receive next business day shipping of replacement hardware to help keep their business up and running.
Hardware Refresh
The Hardware Refresh component of this service provides ongoing migration to the latest hardware platforms.
Customers eligible for Hardware Refresh will receive an updated unit as an RMA replacement appliance. Customers are not charged the price of the new unit. This means that by maintaining an Instant Replacement subscription with your Barracuda appliance, you can continue receiving a new hardware unit every 4 years at absolutely no additional hardware unit cost.
With this, the Instant Replacement program provides a single, convenient subscription that covers you in case of hardware failure and provides an affordable way to migrate to the most current hardware platform on an ongoing basis.
Barracuda Networks encourages all customers to take advantage of the Instant Replacement subscription since it provides both priority hardware replacement in case of failure, as well as affordable migration to the latest hardware platforms on an ongoing basis.
Warranty Extension
The Warranty Extension program is available for Barracuda CloudGen Firewall hardware units and for certain modems. Contact your reseller or a Barracuda Sales Representative if you are interested in purchasing a subscription to this program.

- Data migration service Barracuda Networks will assist customers with moving the product configuration from the old product to the new product if the old configuration data is accessible.
- Hard Disk replacement on Barracuda Networks models that have swappable raid drives. Barracuda Networks will ship via standard shipping a hard disk replacement.
