Tokyo, 05 April 2023 — Barracuda Networks, Inc., a trusted partner and leading provider of cloud-first security solutions, today announced the appointment of Makoto Suzuki as its Regional Sales Director for Japan.
At Barracuda Japan, Suzuki will focus on boosting the company’s strong sales growth, expanding its channel partner programs for distributors, resellers, and Managed Service Providers, and extending the reach of the company’s software-as-a-service offerings that include innovative cloud-first security products to protect organizations’ email, network, data, and application environments.

Suzuki brings more than 30 years of successful sales experience in corporate IT and cybersecurity. He joins Barracuda most recently from Darktrace where he was the Country Manager for Japan, leading its sales force and business operations in Tokyo and Osaka. Before that, Suzuki was Managing Director at Dell Technologies Japan. He has also worked at Symantec Japan.
