There is a direct correlation between an increase in migrating and building native applications in the cloud, and an increase in data breaches, malware attacks, and defacement.

  • Juniper Research estimates cybercrime will cost corporations $2 trillion by 2019*
  • 221% increase in compromised WordPress sites**
  • 8.19 billion malware attacks, most focused on smartphones**

While the threat is real, the solution is easy. Barracuda’s Web Application Firewall (WAF) works seamlessly with your AWS environment, offering unmatched security capabilities, customization options, and reporting analytics for the most common use cases on AWS:

Web, mobile and API-based applications like Microsoft SharePoint, Magento, WordPress, etc.

Secure AWS Elastic Beanstalk Applications with the Barracuda Web Application Firewall

AWS Elastic Beanstalk (EB) is a service for deploying infrastructure that orchestrates various AWS services, including Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS), AWS CloudWatch, auto scaling, and Elastic Load Balancers (ELB). The Barracuda Web Application Firewall can be easily deployed in an auto scaling cluster to secure these applications against application attacks. Simply launch the Barracuda Web Application Firewall from the AWS Marketplace CloudFormation Template, point it to the AWS Elastic Beanstalk’s (EB) application’s upstream ELB. The Barracuda WAF stack will bootstrap this configuration and automatically start protecting your EB application. The Barracuda WAF stack will also scale up or down with your application, ensuring complete protection at all times.
