Kevin Thompson, SolarWinds President and CEO, Joins Barracuda Board of Directors
Campbell, Calif. (Sept. 19, 2013) – Barracuda Networks, Inc., a leading provider of security and storage solutions, today announced that Kevin B. Thompson, president and CEO of SolarWinds® has joined its board of directors. Thompson brings his expertise and proven track record in leading transformational businesses to Barracuda.

Prior to becoming chief executive officer in March 2010, Thompson held multiple leadership roles at SolarWinds. He joined the company as chief financial officer and treasurer in July 2006. In July 2007, he became chief operating officer, and in January 2009, he became president. Prior to joining SolarWinds, Thompson held a variety of senior positions at leading companies such as Red Hat, Inc. and SAS Institute. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma, and also serves on the board of directors of NetSuite Inc.
