Which deployment method works for you?

One of the cool things about the Barracuda portfolio is the flexibility of deployment.  You know that we offer physical and virtual machine deployments, but did you also know that we offer cloud, public cloud, and hybrid deployments? Let's take a look at what this flexibility means for you.

Physical deployment

This is the traditional type of deployment and it's still very popular.  Barracuda physical machines are purpose-built appliances that include the hardware, software, and cloud connectivity, that provide the greatest possible performance of the machine.

This type of deployment allows customers to control their hardware and keep their assets on-premise.  Barracuda physical appliances range in size from desktop units to 2U rack-mounts, and offer a variety of resource configurations.   Barracuda purpose-built appliances are easy to install and configure, and we have an award-winning support department standing by to assist if necessary.

Virtual deployment

Nearly all of our security and application delivery products are available as virtual machines.  This allows our customers to save time, cut costs, simplify disaster recovery, and more.  We support a variety of hypervisors, including VMware, Oracle VirtualBox, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Citrix.  We also offer simple licensing and immediate downloads for all of our virtual machine appliances.

Cloud deployment

We offer a handful of services that are hosted in the Barracuda cloud.  Our cloud-based security solutions include the Barracuda Email Security Service and Barracuda Web Security Service.  These are convenient options to deploy powerful security for users on or off the network.  We also offer Barracuda Copy and Barracuda SignNow, which provide customers with secure file sync & share and eSignature solutions.

Public cloud deployment

Public cloud deployments are increasing in popularity, and with good reason.  Services like Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services offer on-demand access to powerful and affordable resources.  Barracuda has made significant investments in developing our products for the public cloud, and our momentum in this space continues to grow.

Hybrid deployment

Secure and protect your infrastructure with physical and virtual machines, and on-demand machines in the public cloud.

With Barracuda deployment flexibility, customers can choose the lowest-cost infrastructure that makes sense for their companies.

Barracuda offers a risk-free, 30-day trial of most products on all platforms.  Find out more on our website at www.barracuda.com
